This clinic is held on a Thursday afternoon and is run jointly by Dr Hepburn and Sister Ward. A telephone call with Dr Hepburn is required before attending.
If Thursday is not suitable an alternative time can be arranged. We suggest that patients have a review of their asthma at least once a year.
Routine childhood immunisations are carried out once monthly on a Tuesday morning. You will be sent an invitation by post from the Health Board. The Health Visitor will advise on and administer the immunisations.

The practice offers a range of contraceptive services by appointment including the pill, depo-provera, diaphragm, coil and implanon (sub dermal implant).
Emergency contraception is also available. Where possible contact the practice within 24 hours, as although the “morning after pill” is effective until 72 hours after unprotected intercourse, the sooner it is taken the better. After 72 hours an emergency coil (IUCD) may be fitted if a risk has been taken.
This clinic is held monthly on a Wednesday and is run jointly by Dr Oliver, the practice nurse, dietician and podiatrist.
An annual review is offered to all diabetic patients, at which we can deal with most aspects of your diabetic care. In addition, diabetic patients are offered further reviews as required.
The NHS currently funds the provision of flu vaccination for all patients over the age of 65 and younger patients who suffer from a chronic illness that may result in them being more susceptible to the effects of influenza. The practice runs flu clinics from the beginning of October through to the end of February each year.
The practice offers a range of minor surgical procedures including freezing of warts and other small skin lesions, joint injections and removal of moles, cysts etc. Please make an appointment with either doctor.
Warts can usually be dealt with on the day but other problems may require a further scheduled appointment.
